I feel very happy that Pathivara is in our neighborhood over here in Highview. I think I would drive a long way to get there anyways, because I like the store and the people there. They are relatively new and seem to be improving all the time with more fresh items, etc. Bimal is a very good man, like everyone I've ever met from Nepal. I feel happy every time I go in there. Today April of 2025, I bought some Malanga root, Taro root, coconut milk and some asian type of pears for a soup I'm concocting from scratch. YUM...
I recently visited this Nepali store, and it was a fantastic experience! The moment I walked in, I felt like I was transported to Nepal. The place was beautifully decorated with traditional Nepali items, and the soft Nepali music playing in the background added a lovely touch. The prices were reasonable, especially considering the quality of the products. They also had some great deals and discounts, which was a nice bonus. I felt like I got great value for my money. Overall, my visit to the Nepali store was wonderful. Whether you’re looking for groceries, gifts, or just want to experience a bit of Nepali culture, this store is definitely worth a visit. I’ll definitely be going back!
Typical Indo-Nepali grocery store where you can find varieties of foods and other items. I visited this store last Thursday. I was greeted by the register clerk . Items are easily accessible. More room to turn around and items are reasonably priced. I bought few items which I was unable to find elsewhere! Anyone residing in J-town and surrounding areas can stop by to this store, you will definitely make it as regular shopping store !
I shop there alot. I buy produce, candy, ramen, spices, and flour. They also sell kimche, I noticed. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
Good to see a store with Indian, Pakistani, and Nepali goods in this part of Louisville! Owners are friendly and prices are good. Good selection of produce too.
